For more than a century ZODIAC dedicated itself to mastering the elements. In 1896 it started as an aeronautical company with the production of airplanes and blimps.
In 1930 it developed the concept of inflatable boats, which gave it commercial success and the brand ZODIAC was born.
In the late 1970s ZODIAC’s level of recognition on the market was boosted by its growth strategy, which led it to become a very diversified company with international presence as a Blue-Chip Stock company.

After separating itself in September 2007 from its Navy segment and changing its name to ZODIAC Aerospace, the company is refocusing on the business fields of aerospace.
