The HEIM DATaRec 4 MDR family of ZODIAC Data Systems GmbH has set new standards regarding the instrumentation in flight tests: smaller, lighter and more price-optimized as ever before.
The handling and use of the equipment takes place at the integrated front panel.
In the first development phase the MDR will have a data rate of 100Mbit/s and will use a CF card as storage medium.
The HEIM DATaRec® MDR product family offers the user a flexible system: the simple swap and exchange of signal interface modules by the user himself allows for customized fittings and set-ups of the tasks at hand.
The HEIM DATaRec® MDR family is continuously being enlarged and improved to meet the current and future demands placed on it.
Currently the following upgrades are being planned:
1) the expansion of the signal interface portfolios and additional storage capacity,
2) an upgrading of the range of main frames of up to 8 signal module slots ,
3) and last but not least an increase of the maximum data rate.
